The Classical MIDI Connection has a very good selection of MIDI files on many composers arranged by musical period.

The Classical MIDI Archives has an extremely vast selection of music (both MIDI as well as live performance), on many composers. You must register, however, they do have a free membership.

No MIDI files here, but there is a lot of useful information. They have biography's of decent length (much better than mine) works lists, collections of pictures, informational pages on the history of western music, musical epochs, musical form and much more.

Virtual Sheet Music is a great service, providing musicians, and all music lovers, with the ability to quicky locate sheet music and download it on the spot! Prices are very affordable, and the ability to quickly download and print directly on your own printer is invaluable.

Go to their "shopping center" and you will find a large selection of sheet music (for string instruments mostly). They also have a wide array of other items for sale, from strings, metronomes and tuners all the way to cases, bows, and instruments.

Hickey's started as a major supplier of brass instrument music, but now they carry thousands of selections for any instrument. They also carry musical accessories for many instruments such as mutes, gig-bags, mouthpieces and reeds.
